Which is better, polyurethane screen plate or rubber screen plate?
Generally speaking, the wear resistance of polyurethane is 10 times that of rubber and 3 to 4 times that of steel. But why doesn’t polyurethane make high-speed car tires? Because ordinary polyurethane has hysteresis heat, which can cause molecular chain breakage after accumulation, which is its fatal flaw and a global problem. In addition, the strength and tearing of ordinary polyurethane are very good at normal temperature, but under the use conditions of 80 degrees, the strength drops to 50% of normal temperature and 20% at 100 degrees, and the tearing also becomes very poor and easy to break. .
In the same way, using ordinary polyurethane to make sieve plates is not necessarily better than rubber. I have been engaged in polyurethane elastomer research for more than 20 years after graduating from college. As far as I know, there are many companies in China that make polyurethane sieve plates, and there should be no one. can solve this problem.
In view of the hysteresis heat problem of polyurethane, ordinary small polyurethane wheels cannot survive for 1 minute at 10 kilograms of force and 3000 revolutions per minute, leaving only a layer of skin.
The conditions for making sieve plates, sand pump impellers and other products are much lower. It is unrealistic to use 10 times the rubber, but several times should be fine.
